Background and Education

Jimmy Hernandez is a nationally recognized financial expert dedicated to helping individuals secure their financial future. Raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jimmy excelled academically and was named valedictorian of his graduating class. Motivated by witnessing the effects of the 2008 market downturn, he decided to pursue a career in finance and has been serving clients since 2010.

Professional Experience

Jimmy began his career with an internship at a Broker Dealer before earning his license and joining a leading CPA and law firm. There, he developed a deep expertise in tax strategies, financial planning, and estate planning. His professional journey led him to become an instructor at the Retirement Wealth Academy, where he educates others in key areas of financial planning and investment.

Teaching & Thought Leadership

His thought leadership has earned him national recognition, as he regularly speaks at conferences and hosts webinars on tax planning, investment strategies, and charitable giving. Jimmy is particularly passionate about helping federal employees maximize their government benefits and plan for retirement, having assisted hundreds in optimizing their retirement strategies.
